Hi friends, here you will learn types of present tense and rules of interchanging of present tense. 

 

The verb tense known as “present” is used to describe: Things taking place right now Regular or habitual actions
general information or facts events scheduled for the near future The definition of A verb form that describes an action or state that is taking place right now is referred to as the present tense.

Examples:
(Tradition) I eat breakfast at 8 a.m. She is learning English. (Action is taking place right now) Water boils at 100°C. (scientific fact)
(scheduled event) At six o’clock, the train leaves.

Types of Present Tense
Present tense comes in four Parts:

1. Present Simple Tense :
Daily routines or habits
general information or facts upcoming events that are scheduled

Structure:

the base verb (plus the s/es for he/she/it)

Examples:
I always go to school.

She is a guitarist.

The east is where the sun rises.

2. Tense of Present Continuous:
Things taking place right now sporadic actions Strategies for the future

Structure:
Subject, is/are, verb, and ing

Examples:
I’m a student of English.

Cricket is being played by them.

She is going to the market.

3.Perfect Present Tense :
Actions that happened at an unspecified time
Actions that have just been completed

Structure:
Subject + has/have + past participle (V3)

Examples:
I have finished my homework.
He’s been to the Taj Mahal. We have lived here for five years.

4.Continuous Present Perfect Tense :
Actions that started in the past and are still continuing
Emphasizes the duration of an action

Structure:
Subject + has/have been + verb + ing

Examples:
She has spent two hours reading.

Since morning, they have been working on the project.

I have been learning English for six months.
